If you exclude her Christmas album, it's been four years since Gwen Stefani's released an album. 2016's This Is What the Truth Feels Like showcased her most mature, explorative songwriting to-date. The world needs new music from Gwenny Gwen Gwen. We don't know when we'll get it, but we'll get it.

Gwen said in a new interview she's felt inspired lately to write new music.

So excited for this! She has so many great songs. I just wonder what direction she will go in.. I like both mature pop Gwen and colorful Harajuku Gwen so this is great!

Her 3rd album has a lot of great songs (Rare, Me Without You, Misery, Used to Love You, Asking 4 It, You're My Favorite), but it's way too long and has quite a bit of filler. Let's leave Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter in 2017, ok?!  And the fact that "Baby Don't Lie" wasn't on the album... Imagine having no taste in your own songs.

Gwen is a true gem in pop world, but weirdly enough in many interviews she has proved and even said she has such low self-esteem... She is a main pop girl for sure, she should act like one. KEEP MAKING MUSIC! <3

I'm here for this. Her last No Doubt album is a big no for me. I did my best to like it but never managed. 'Truth' on the other side was quite good. 

Fave tracks are cool, serious and danger zone. And no doubts happy now, simple kind of life, new.

I'm sure it's a Country album since she is now the first female artist over 50 to have a number 1 song on the Country chart. 

Gwen: Dolly, Loretta and Reba worked for years and didn't get a Country number 1 past the age of 50 but I released this Blake Shelton collab and I OOP
