lol. i recently watched back her vma 2000 performance and that ish was -NOT GOOD_. Overshadowed by britney every time and rightly so. Would have even been the case in 2007.

well, not 2007, but her 2008 performance was overshadowed by Britney winning three awards,

I think it was a type of an edgier compliment, there's an interview about that

It was just a gag. MTV was all about celebrity hookup rumors in those days.  Eminem started it with the Carson Daily and Fred Durst getting head from Christina lyrics.  I think this was a play on that and Christina was just trying to take control of the narrative.
