I remember it so clearly. first I was annoyed that Britney was lipsyncing and then I was annoyed that Christina wasnt because she was sick and sounded awful. Also damn she alwas has bad luck at the vmas. She had the choreo fail that she never messed up before in 2000 and then the turned off mic and the stumble in 2003.

anyway.. praise Primeny and this FLAWLESS performance. Also the cough was totally worth a post.

 

Christina’s collaboration with Fred Durst was an abomination and it only occurred because they were sleeping together like Eminem said. Lol.

I have no video proof but at the Atlanta Circus Tour show, before she came down for the first song, they turned the camera on early and on the screen it showed her biting her lip and gripping her hands together like she was nervous.. but she got fierce as soon as the song started.  I think it summed up how we all felt... nervous and excited.

This was so well executed rock and roll version... and she did well with I love rock and roll too. I wish she would bring back more "rock" as I think that would fit her style. Esp. now with the dark hair.
