but wtf is going on in this country tbh?

Like conservatorships in France are heavily controled by the state, it's VERY RARE you're put under one for 11 years, and most of the time the conservator is a public worker.

The USA really is a broken country

And just when I'm immersed in all this I just learned that my great-aunt is being put under some sort of conservatorship too :idkney:. She lives in California, but she's an elder woman, maybe around 80, but she never married and has no children, and she used to live with a sister but she passed away recently. She's starting to have signs of Alzheimer and has other diseases that need treatment, so my aunt and cousins have tried to help her, but she refused all help. For what I understand, my aunt is going to become her conservator for all of her medical issues, but apparently the government is gonna take all her properties and money.

Forgive my flopness, but I'm stuck in a thought... can a mentally incapacitated person consent to ***? I mean in spite of Jamie's *approval*?

Just doesn't seem right that someone too medically ill for her rights as a person is allowed intimacy.

Leave MuuMuse alone, he's doing his best for himself. Even though the cause is noble and legitimate, the messaging for this situation has been messy.  I understand where he's coming from, because he's been ripped to shreds and bullied about this whole situation. He's a nice guy who cares about Britney, and has every right to choose to remove himself from the Britney world for the time being. He's not being paid off by Britney's team and it's not like he gets that many worthy exclusives for that to be the reason for his silence.

Exactly this. Why would you wanna ally yourself with the people that have been bullying you for years. Every time he leaked something he was mocked and laughed at, and wouldn't be believed when he was right. He laughed at us during the Apple Pie thing because that was a mess on our part.

It's crazy they still consider it a "consipracy" and a meme ?!. wtf is so far fetched ? all they need to do is look into what a conservatorship actually is and how it came about in Brit's case and how she felt about it and it starts unraveling immediately .

...but it was certainly taken as a show of support by those perpetuating the conspiracy-theory-minded meme, which...

Not how it happens in France tbh.

But then again, France is a socialist state, where Humans are (were?) at the center of everything.

Looking at it from her partner's perspective sounds even worse.

"Hi I'm Sam Asghari, I'm 25 and I've been sleeping with a 37 year old legally-declared mental incapacitated woman for the past 2 years. It's cool, her dad says it's okay."

I think the fact that she's in a committed relationship with someone and all proves that she's mentally sane enough to take care of herself.
