Britney Spears wants to end the conservatorship that she’s been under for over a decade.

 

But after the troubled singer’s most recent stint in a mental health facility, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that her friends don’t think she is ready.

 

“Britney wants out of it while proving to everyone why she still needs to have one to begin with,” a source close to the singer told Radar.

 

“Her bid for freedom and control over her entire life may not be granted and, if it isn’t, her friends really believe that it may send her into a tailspin,” the insider added.

 

As RadarOnline.com readers know, the 37-year-old “Stronger” singer checked into a mental wellness center in Southern California last month.

 

The pop star left the facility in late April after completing the program.

 

Britney’s troubles came on the heels of her father, Jamie Spears’ recent health struggles. The famous dad almost died after undergoing a second surgery to repair a ruptured colon.

 

Jamie has been in control of Britney’s conservatorship since she suffered a mental breakdown in 2007. The singer’s friends insisted if she’s granted control of her finances, things could get worse.

 

“Britney’s friends and some of her family members are worried over these upcoming conservator hearings because they really believe that a judge is going to take the fact that she was just released from a mental health facility into account,” a source close to Spears told Radar.

 

“Unfortunately for Britney, that kind of goes to show that she is not ready to handle her life under her own terms,” the insider added.

 

The pop star’s conservatorship is set to be discussed before a judge on May 10.

I hate that they're using the friend-card to make the story more (less, because we're not buying it) believable. All the information that's printed about Britney is coming straight from her handlers (Samuel Ingham, Jamie Spears, Larry, Lou Taylor and more).

I honestly can't take this anymore and I'm not even in her situation.... I can't imagine how devastating all of these lies, conspiracies and forced control have to be for Britney herself. Honestly, if at some point, she goes completely nuts, to me, that would be nothing but a further proof of her sanity... what sane, normal human being wouldn't go crazy under these circumstances???
