So, it seems theres footage of the rehearsal somewhere ... why doesnt leak like the vmas 07?

Probably because that happened before the internet and digital era started. Even music was not as easily accessible if you didn't have LimeWire or Kazaa. I don't think we got many unreleased stuff back then, but my memory is foggy.

Obviously. We already had internet back then, but the internet era didn't start until much later. Sharing unreleased stuff was not as common and accessible as they are now IMO. 

Hopefully they leak it at some point though.
