Tbf back then most people her age did that though. It was very common. Now young people are influenced a lot more to decide for themselves, to have their own opinion, research more, etc. Politics has become more and more relevant towards younger people as the years have gone by too.

I mean, kids all over the world were listening to what she had to say and that's a lot of responsability for a 19 year-old.. As long as she didn't promote bad habits/behaviours there was no need to ask her about this ALL THE DAMN TIME
