but judging by the fact that this picture comes from a really bad time in her life.

that is a picture of a USED BRITNEY SPEARS. a picture of lost Britney being used against her will to the point where she can't do anything surrenders and smiles from a broken heart..

Idk she's smiling, but I don't see a happy person there. Look at her eyes, and just remember everything back then. Perhaps this was just one of the few times she could escape her reality, but she clearly wasn't in her best place.

Back in her darker days she most probably wasn´t sad 24/7. For me she looks here relaxed and happy. But I know how hard was that times for her  She is in better place now
