What is the deal with Britney’s hair?

As someone who knows hair, ima step in. Extensions are a high maintenance hair style. And Brit is a low maintenance kind of girl. So, with her it’s more noticeable than most celebs who have a hair team working around the clock. making extensions look natural takes time that Britney is not putting in herself. And she doesn’t want a hair team touching her every day just to post on instagram. 
 

As far as the shortness of her natural hair goes, her hair is bleached (which does weaken the hair eventually. No matter how much olaplex modern stylists use 🙄) and the extensions add weight to already compromised hair from the bleaching. So those two factors together equal breakage and dead ends. The best way to deal with that is to regularly cut it and have healthier (albeit shorter) natural hair and supplement with comparably healthier extensions that get replaced regularly.

My response… Maybe she’s just used to the extensions and likes having some length. Depending on how it’s treated and styled, it can look natural. If Britney’s lost any hair, there are products like the one below that can help with strength and regrowth.
