I’ve never seen Zoey 101 so I can’t really speak to the the trailer itself as far as plot or acting. It may be exactly what people who did love the show would hope for or expect. That being said using “Tik Tok” in a trailer seems a bit eye roll to me. Giving Dr Luke some coins, huh?

Weren’t there rumors about something happening between Britney and Dr Luke that lead to him not being involved with the Britney Jean project as much as he’d like to have been? I’m not sure exactly what but I feel like I heard that years ago.
