I feel like she was contractually obligated to release Perfume. Sia was really trying extra hard to make that melody happen, she even reused it in another song.

I like the verses but everything else about the song falls short, similar to 'Just Like Me'. Great verses but the chorus ruins the track.

I think perfume was chosen to remind people of Britney's vocal skills. It was a good choice just terribly promoted.
