As much as I’ve loved Gimme More over the years, it’s not happening. Stranger things is one of the most steamed shows of all time. As well as somewhat of a family show. Running up that hill is a song most people would listen to also given the iconic moment it was played in the series is a big part of its success. Gimme more will definitely get some attention, but the whole world isn’t going to be jamming this raunchy banger 😂😂

Stranger Things and the building up of that scene was astronomical the feeling everything was on point so did the audience and of course the song become successful.

I hope they treat Gimme More with the respect it deserves.

I swear, if Gimme becomes a big smash again, that would be Fuc King amazing. In our #DelusionalDreams it would go number 1 and she would open the VMAs with a killer performance of it, and I’d officially die. What a way to kick off her Iconic 25 Years of Britney Celebration..  😭😭

It cant have a Running Up That Hill moment simply because Gimme More was actually a hit. As far as I know, Running Up That Hill was never a big hit. 

Can someone (born around those years) confirm this??? Cause I wasnt even born at that time

We dont even know if it is only used in a teaser. Many songs are only used for teaser or trailer promotion and never end up as an actual part of a show. And the teaser had like .. almost no impact.

i searched it up & it says that the song was her biggest us hit in 1985, peaking at #30 🤭

Well, Overprotected was #1 worldwide but peaked at 86 in the US? Or something? 

But #30 being her best position doesnt really shows the song was 'a hit'
