Thats not a retraction they still have the original story up promoting it and the quote is “Sam explains manic episode”

Same stories are up with no retraction on their website.

I've been thinking about this and I don't think Sam left to get the car. They most likely valet their car since Britney doesn't like to be photographed and I don't think Britney would have stayed if he said he was going to get the car unless he wanted to skip out on the bill.

I saw a picture of the valet parking lot and it's literally right in front of the restaurant. 

Also, it doesn't make sense to leave her in the restaurant if she was annoyed with everyone taking her picture. Why wouldn't she just leave right then with him?

Or be taken away from the table when he pulled up with the car.

It's interesting they had Britney sitting right in the middle of the restaurant, I wonder who seated them and why it wasn't asked if they could sit in a more private spot.
