To be honest, I always suspected that the "burning it down" statement was hugely exaggerated. I mean, we know she didn't literally burn it the ground, as she was... standing in it in the video. It seems more likely that there was a fire that damaged a lot of the equipment and some repair work needed to be done on the gym. It's also kind of sus that we didn't hear about it for months, and the only reason we even knew about it at all was because Britney herself told us about it, almost like someone was saying to her "You know what would be a really funny story to tell on Instagram, Britney?" Considering that was during the time Team Con were really trying everything they could to save themselves it wouldn't surprise me
