Selena Gomez has released her new single ‘My Mind & Me’

Selena Gomez released her powerful new song ahead of her upcoming documentary Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me.

I’ve stopped waiting for Selena Gomez to release more edgier music and looks. However, ‘My Mind & Me’ is better than her previous album as this is feeling authentic to her story about mental health.

Yall know I'm about the bops (Rihanna I'm looking at you), but this was appropriate to go alongside her mental health doc. Nice track. Her vocals (and the accent?) sound interesting here.

I like it, but is she trying to sound like Gwen Stefani on that chorus

Her vocals in the chorus sound too strained. Otherwise the song is nice enough although a bit too short. I feel the lyrics are really relatable though and detail Selena's struggles.

Absolutely beautiful. I love how her and Rihanna released AMAZING powerful ballads. Ballads just hit different and Selena has some amazing ballads. Her voice sounds front and center, the minimal production is everything.
