Were you popular in high school?

Oh, no, no. I was the guy with the brackets that no one wanted to talk to. I was so desperate and thought I couldn't be a social person with many friends or at least good relationships with my classmates. The key point when everything changed was when I read more about American culture because I got so much confidence in myself after I started being good at history lessons. I had an assignment on multiculturalism in the context of American culture and found high-quality essay examples by experts that made me very knowledgeable about this topic. So after that, my high school years became a dream, everyone saw that I know my worth and have great potential.

Until I was 18 I thought I was the worst and stupidest kid, this was because my parents and teachers made me think so, in fact now I understand that I am much smarter than 90% of the kids I went to school with; in fact it was amazing to find this out, because I always thought I was dumber.. very sad that I understood this only now at 22, but instead now I am much stronger morally and I feel much better.
