Oh really?  even though iirc Mattel used a modified version of the song for a Barbie commercial eventually in the late 2000s.

Barbie Girl is legitimately one of my favorite songs of all time (and I think Mattel is making a mistake by not using it in the movie). Even though it’s already flawless, I actually would totally be here for a Britney cover. Her vocals with the modern version of ‘90s dance music that’s still popular today would be so fantastic.

I dont think it would be a good idea for her to cover Barbie girl.

Her voice doesnt suit the song.

NOT saying she sings bad, i just mean that the original is perfect the way it is.
