All of you thinking he looks stoned could be right, but I think it's something much worse.

He's dissociating. I do that all the time in stressful conversations, so I know exactly what it looks like. The glazed over eyes, avoiding eye contact with the other party, the lower register to the voice to the point of vocal fry, the involuntary shrugs. He's speaking to the interviewer, but he's miles away inside of himself.

It's one of the defining factors of PTSD. I only know I do it because my therapist pointed it out after a joint session between me and my mom when I was a teenager, and she was shocked by me reacting like that when my mom started berating me because she'd only seen it in soldiers. (My mom hasn't always been kind to me. Let's just leave at that. We're good now.)

If I'm right and that's what this is, the boys may have it just as bad with Kevin as Britney had it with Jamie.

If I didn't know anything about Britney, Jayden and the whole situation, I would probably be a bit confused about the purpose of the interview. "So there's this super-famous singer and this is his son who hasn't talked to his mom because of... Instagram posts? Why is this a news?"

Jayden came across as a clueless teenage boy who has a good heart but believes everything her dad, stepmom, grandmother & uncle tells him.

Then again, imagine he would suddenly come to his senses and see this situation through Britney's eyes. He clearly loves his dad ("he's a ******* Jesus") and his grandmother and I'm sure they really love him, too.

How would he feel if he suddenly believed that they were actively participating with his grandfather in an evil scheme to trap their mother and use and abuse her for financial gain?

Imagine someone you loved (parent, grandparent, aunt/uncle) turned out to be a greedy monster who has been abusing 13+ years someone else you love as much as them. 

My heart would break and I would lose my trust in people. So of course Britney's sons will resist the idea that they dad wasn't a Jesus but a Judas willing to sell their mom – and now them – for financial gain. It is possible they will never want to face the truth. It's really sad, but totally understandable.

It’s a shame they didn’t take after their mother when it comes to talent, work ethic and morals. 

Britney was literally a year away from slaying the world with BOMT and this spoilt brat who’s lived a life of luxury is talking about things when he has NO idea what his mother has sacrificed for him and his brother

You might be right about him dissociating, but he is actually looking at the interviewer and his dad who are on the other side of the piano. The interviewer's husband who shot the interview is just a really ****ty videographer. The sound quality is horrible, too.

Ugh its so sad, this child has been manipulated into repeating conservatorship talking points: "I think at first he was just trying to be like any father, like pursue her daughter's dream of like being a superstar." 

This child has a warped understanding of what "any father" does for their daughter. "any father" doesn't traffic your daughter or work her to death because of "her" "dream" to be a super star. maybe he doesn't understand either that Britney was a star BEFORE the conservatorship and by the time it came around she was more interested in being MOM. and she had it taken away from her.
