Hold Me Closer has officially debuted at #3 in the UK.

This becomes Britney's first Top 5 hit in 10 years. Imagine scoring a Top 3 hit 24 years into your career :yasqueen_yes_wow_crying_praise_tears_wipe_sad:

This week’s highest new entry on the chart is Hold Me Closer, a team-up between Elton John and Britney Spears, which debuts at Number 3, and is the most-downloaded song of the week in the UK.

It becomes Elton’s fourth consecutive Top 5 entry in a year. For Britney, it’s her first song since 2016 and highest-peaking since Scream & Shout with Will.I.Am hit Number 1 in 2012, making this a welcome return for the beloved Princess of Pop.

No.3 is absolutely incredible with zero promo from Britney, deactivated her most popular social media, no tweet with the link to the song, no music video, no TTH play listing (until a few hours ago), no performances, interviews etc.

A Top 3 debut is absolutely great 24 years into her legendary career.
