The word is not just been thrown around. My understanding is that there is credible evidence emerging that this is what actually happened, which is detailed in court documents. Her treatment cannot be described as a "minor injustice" or a "high school drama". It's the equivalent of telling an abuse victim she should drop the charges "for the good of the family" and that is why your comments are causing offense. This is not policitical correctness gone mad, it is possible (in my opion) criminal behaviour took place not just "family drama"
