Little Mix claim 2020's biggest sales week for a British act with their album 'Confetti'.

Well done to the girls! 9 years in and their sixth studio album did THAT :mimiclap_mariah_clapping_applause_proud_yes_Yas:

The album Confetti was released last month and had 49,887 chart sales in its first week in the UK. Now only a month on the album has already sold over 100k and has been certified Gold.

So you mean that had they announced Jesy's departure the day "Confetti" dropped they would have beaten Kylie for that number 1 opening week?

I think Jesy was still deciding what to do at that point.

However, the girls would have been number one if they hadn't released on the same date as Kylie, even if they released the same date as Ariana they would have got number one as LM doubled Ari's sales.
