In the 80s M, There was a big teen show in Australia called Young Talent Time (Local version of Kids Incorporated). 

 

One of the Kid stars was Dannii Minogue. 

 

At this Point Kylie was just an actress doing acting. The demo tape she did that landed in Mushroom Records, was supposed to secure acting work that required singing. 

 

Dannii was the biggest star if the family, and Dannii was well expected to be the superstar her older sister is today.
