While she has had some success in the English speaking world particularly the 90s, But Celine Dion is and will always be more successful in the French language markets. 

 

Up there with Mylene Farmer, Celine is regarded as an Icon to French pop.

 

Her 1995 album D'eux for the world and retitled for the American audiences as the French Album, with 12 Million albums sold worldwide it's the best selling french Album to date. 

Watch the official TF1 (Major french Studio) trailer for a biopic on Celine Dion, music is in english, but the movie is in French.
