Madonna - "Living For Love" Appreciation Thread

Randomly I stumbled on Madonna's Living for Love song/video and I think it is one of my favourite pieces of work of her from the last 5 years, I remember her promoting that song at the Grammys/BRITs, the fall... and reminded me of that the song, is quite powerful I love the background vocals, and that video has such a great concept. I like almost every album of her, and several songs, and while reading the wikipedia page I agree with one of the reviewers saying that Living for Love was her best video since Hung Up, which has an amazing video as well. Love fest for Madonna

I find the video to be kinda creepy  I remember it actually gave me a nightmare 

I found Rebel Heart to be a good album but I forgot about it real quick. 

 

My favorite song was Rebel Heart, even though it's a fluffy song I love the message.

Rebel Heart was a good album, but living for love was definitely not my fav... but I believe Alicia Keys did the piano part! 

I love the demo of Rebel Heart (I think it's even better than the final version)! Devil pray, Joan of Arc, Hold Tigh, Holy Water and Heartbreak City... these are my favs!

The whole Rebel Heart album is amazing! My faves are Ghosttown and Joan Of Arc

I really wish this song performed better.  It is such an underrated song and gives me updated “Ray of Light” era vibes.

Yes I loveeee Living for Love. It did quite well in the UK for a Madonna song post-2008 to be honest - #26, though the outrage over BBC Radio 1’s ageism towards her probably helped with that. 

I echo the remarks of another poster however, the video is a bit creepy. But Madonna does these artsy fartsy concepts so well.

Rebel Heart was also a good solid album, but for some reason its been quite forgettable. 

Its Madonnas Glory, except RH is better than Glory

Love the album. The big problem was a lot of great material leaked..

 

Nothing lasts forever, Never let you go, 

 

Dance version of Wash all over me, Rebel Heart. 

 

Problem was I love Holy water, Vogue, Catholicism and SMEx. Only madonna can do that. 

 

But S.M.E.X was stupid..

 

19 songs plus 25 songs. It could have used a trimming. 

 

Unapologetic bish was the best of the two bish songs. 

 

Fans were telling her put this here take off that. She hated that. 

 

But one fan said. "Had she listened to us, Rebel heart would have won over the world".

 

But she refused.

I always forget about RH and then when I put it on I stan again.

 

But this song I never forget. It's one of my favorites of her from the past decade. Such a classic Madonna melody--clean and bright and uplifting as ****. I love it.
