Billboard 200 albums that have charted for more than 350 weeks

Recommended Posts

With the latest Billboard 200 chart posting, I noticed that Bob Marley and the Wailers' album "Legend" charted at 47th, right above BTS, Lizzo, Khalid, Ariana Grande, as well as the newest one from Charli XCX. Which kinda surprised me, and then I checked this table on Wikipedia, and see that besides Bob Marley, there are other big ones currently charting

  • Bob Marley and the Wailers - Legend  - 627 weeks - 47th position this week
  • Journey - Journey's Greatest Hits - 617 weeks - 58th
  • Metallica - Metallica - 573 weeks - 165th
  • Eminem - Curtain Call: The Hits - 492 weeks - Not placed this week
  • Nirvana - Nevermind - 474 weeks - 179th
  • Creedence Clearwater Revival - Chronicle: The 20 Greatest Hits  - 472 weeks - 52nd
  • Bruno Mars - Doo-Wops & Hooligans - 471 weeks - 135th
  • Adele - 21 - 466 weeks - 161th
  • The Beatles - 1 - 421 weeks - 75th
  • Michael Jackson - Thriller - 419 weeks - 148th
  • AC/DC - Back in Black - 412 weeks - 102nd
  • Kendrick Lamar - Good Kid, M.A.A.D City - 395 weeks - 108th
  • Imagine Dragons - Night Visions - 395 weeks - 188th
  • Queen - Greatest Hits - 387 weeks - 34th
  • Eminem - The Eminem Show - 378 weeks - 140th
  • Drake - Take Care - 377 weeks - 109th
  • Fletwood Mac - Rumours - 373 weeks - 65th

And for those albums ranking in top 50, is quite impressive. :fakewow:

Which albums you see reaching this milestone 10 years down the road?

  • Hamilton Soundtrack - 243 weeks - 60th

i think Born To Die by Lana Del Rey could make it! it's had 312 non-consecutive weeks and idk when it last charted for sure, but it re-entered at some point in 2018 so i think it could make it again. maybe with the release of her next album or an anniversary release? it's very close and could make it.

edit: forgot to say i def think 1989 will make it. unsure about ANTI. maybe post malones will make it too.

It's between 1989 and Hamilton's cast recording albums. Anti is a possibility. A lot of people post saying they are sorry at Rihanna and just misjudged her and the whole album. They also note. They were younger and didn't understand the content or themes.

I do see privacy of invasion also joining this list.
