I'm sorry to report that a mass shooting in Nova Scotia, a providence in Canada, has left at least 19 people dead, marking the deadliest mass shooting in Canada ever.

The gunman, 51-year-old Gabriel Wortman, dressed up as a police officer before the attack. He was killed in an apparent shootout with police on Sunday in Enfield, Nova Scotia, on Canada's east coast. His motives remain unknown.

I spent a week in Nova Scotia two summers ago for my brother's wedding. This is so devastating.
