music I want to start making music

I always wanted to make music with one friend of mine, like, since a year ago, but I'm very lazy and I don't know THAT much about music and notes and all of those things.

Which is a free and easy for beginners program you would recommend me?

I would love to do a little bit of everything, specially pop and rnb, but i wouldn't care making metal, reggeaton, alternative, edm, etc...
