Seriously, almost no one knows what communism is, what socialism is, and what social democrats are.  (They are three different things!!!) It's so frustrating.

Seriously, almost no one knows what communism is, what socialism is, and what social democrats are.  (They are three different things!!!) It's so frustrating.

I think we have a great amount of Socialist ideas within our democratic republic such as medicare, medicaid, WIC, college grants etc.  Taxes are also a Socialist idea.  I appreciate that we help the poor, young, old, disabled. I also appreciate that we are able to OWN our land, choose our doctors, work our way up the ladder (or attempt to).  You cannot do those things in Socialist countries.  I grew up very poor, my mom is a maid and she cleans for some pretty rich people and I can verify that there are rich people with good hearts.  Visit your local hospital, a lot of the facilities depend on donors for some of their amenities.  I know there are a lot of selfish rich people but we cannot act like ALL of them are that way.  And if they earned their money and choose to be selfish, that's their choice.  Anyways, rant over.  I wish we lived in a perfect world with honest people but we do not.

The funniest thing about this is that even music reviewers have started to refer to her as that. Take this Idolator article on why "Passenger" should've been a single, for example. In the 3rd paragraph, they wrote ""I’ll let you lead the way now, ’cause I want you to take the wheel," the Communist icon belts".
