With the Bangerz era, Miley and her team or just Miley changed her image in the industry. She went from the 'sweet and cool' from Disney to the oversexual / weirdo she was in that time. It was a transition... a way to kill Hannah Montana image. I think all of that was a combination of marketing and a bad time in Miley's life. Later, she stopped that **** and she's in a good place right now. 

At the end of the day, the marketing strategy was similar or the same thing that Britney's in her prime. She went from the **** and innocent virgin to the oversexual and saturated image. Britney's move was in the early 00s and Miley's was heavier in the 2010s.

This is random but I was watching the DWADT tonight and then I watched the Onyx Hotel. She was so gorgeous, passionate and into both of them but particularly DWADT. You could see all the work that went into that tour. From the staging, the costumes, the concept - it was just flawless

I remember at the time thinking how much she was at her prime during ITZ but now watching the show back I couldn’t help but feel like how much she was over it. It was an amazing show and my fav tour but my god she was done. She was tired and she wasn’t her usual grounded self. She was starting to become so over ****** and almost cocky throughout the tour. Certain things in her personality were a bit off. Almost like she was conveying a IDGAF anymore attitude. It was sad to see. Even in 2 years she’d changed so much. She clearly didn’t want to be touring and she was probably bored being told what to do. 

It’s really sad I definately think she lost the passion for it in about 2003/2004. She just wanted to be married by that point and to have kids and to leave everything behind her  Instead skip to 2019 and she’s still being forced on stage. I really hope this Free Britney movement makes a positive change because when I look at that Britney from years ago I can’t help but feel so sad at how her life panned out over the years. She’s such a nice person she didn’t deserve all this
