How is a Las Vegas Residency bad for Britney's legacy?

How exactly is a future Las Vegas Residency bad for Britney's legacy, who is a former teen pop/music star idol?

How many former  teen pop star idols successfully toured in their 30s and beyond?  Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, George Michael?

The list is probably much shorter for solo teen pop idols, if any list even exists.

So, not that her effort shouldn't always be there when she performs, but how exactly is a future residency considered bad for Britney's legacy?

It doesn’t have to be bad for her, but she focuses mainly on Vegas and ignores other elements of her career that could maintain or escalate her status so she ends up fading into the background.

It didn't have to be bad but Britney only wants to make quick money and has lost connection to her craft. I don't want to hear the same vocals of the same 10 songs for the next 20 years.

She is too young for this and she won't focus on her current career in Vegas it seems

People are surprised to hear she has new music out. That's all you need to know. If she toured with new music, people would be more interested and invested.

The only thing that can and does hurt Britney's legacy is Britney herself. Vegas actually adds to her records, acclaim, and pocketbook. Her disinterest in promoting and performing new music hurts her.

she's shaping her career around her kids. She can't go out there and explore new experiences and ve free before going out of conservatorship.Her children should be 18 , so her legal status would be at a considerable place.

 

So most of her projects are about money. Because she has a lot of mouth to feed. She doesn't want to take the risks...Because everything is in risk after 2007. 

So most of her career will in confort zone for a while. Untill the kids can go on their own . So she can decide where does she wanna go after that..

Probably because she did it for longer than needs be, and it's the same show over and over again. But I see what you mean, and now loads of artists are performing in Vegas.

Well, we got 2 1 studio album(s) with only 2 singles released from each one of them since 2013 to this date... u tell me how bad it is for her legacy  

She's the only one to blame of course, Vegas should be her second priority imo.... if u present a damn new musical project to the world, then stick to it as if it were ur baby
