I always knew Britney really liked soulful music like Otis for example and that she also sampled Lafayette Afro Rock Band on Mad Love but knowing this song is based on a song like this makes me appreciate Britney's artistry even more

I love "Baby Boy" / "Untitled Lullaby". Britney has more R&B influence in her music than most people think. I've played the song before to a few friends and they're shocked to hear that deep bluesney voice.

Britney never really experimented with samples too much. Just Let Me Go samples La Isla Bonita by Madonna, Trouble samples Get Together by Madonna, Everybody samples Sweet Dreams by The Eurythmetics (sp?). And I realize the latter two songs aren't unreleased, but they're still sample songs regardless.

It's more than the chorus actually! If we listen to the instrumental, it sounds like a more haunting and darker version of the original by Ace of Base. The chords are the same.

It's chopped up and pitched and parts are reversed to the point beyond no recognition. (Which I think you don't have to credit if the sample is beyond the point of recognition.

That's not really a sample I guess, unless the intention was to have a similar sound. 

It's just the same notes, there are PLENTY of songs that share similar notes and such.
