It's stupid I know but Toxic didn't sound as good to me before the video came out. It felt like I was listening to a different song after watching the video. My first favorite was Boom Boom from that album.

I think they were trying to push the Urban vibe for her, I mean I think both songs had hit potential back in 2003/2004 especially Boom Boom actually and Outrageous had to be a single because Jive promised R. Kelly it would be. I think had she not hurt her knee and the remix featuring Snoop had been serviced to radio and the song had a video that it could have been big like a top 20 for sure which is good for a Britney 4th single.
