Britney's new album Glory opens up at No. 2 on the U.K.'s album chart.

It's the "Better" singer's fifth No. 2 in the U.K. dating back to her Baby One More Time days (she's yet to land at No. 1 across the pond).

Barbra Streisand's Encore -- Movie Partners Sing Broadway topped the charts, scoring her seventh No. 1 of her 50-year U.K. album chart career, Billboard reports.

The pop star took to Twitter to share the good news.

"This was THE BEST news to wake up to this morning!! Thank you to my fans in the UK," she said. "I love you all so much!!"

Back in the states, Britney is duking it out against Streisand for the No. 2 spot. Florida Georgia Line are expected to debut at No. 1, but we'll know for sure come Sunday.

Congrats, Britney!
