Michelle Branch and Patrick Carney are calling off their divorce and will spend time working on their marriage. Back on August 11, Michelle announced that she split from Patrick after three years of marriage and she accused him of cheating. She was then arrested for domestic violence after allegedly hitting him during an argument. Michelle officially filed for divorce a couple days later and the domestic assault charge was later dropped. Now, People reports that the couple has suspended their divorce proceedings for six months and a judge signed off on the request on Tuesday (September 13). They will undergo counseling and decided after six months if they will proceed with the divorce. The documents read, "As evidenced by the signatures below, that the parties, Michelle Jacquet Branch and Patrick James Carney, are seeking a suspension of the divorce proceedings in this cause to effect reconciliation. The parties may participate in counseling services to effectuate reconciliation and/or may resume living together as husband and wife and their acts and conduct in doing so shall not be determined condonation of any prior misconduct and all acts or actions by the parties prior to the entry of this order shall remain and constitute grounds for divorce."

Michelle Branch readies her 4th album „The Trouble with Fever“, to be released September 16th. The album will contain 10 tracks and the first single, „I‘m a Man“, an empowering track about womens rights („tired of being told by everybody, that I can’t make decisions about my own damn body“) has been released on July 15th. Michelle Branch has reportedly been arrested. The 39-year-old "Everywhere" singer was arrested earlier this week for domestic violence against her estranged husband Patrick Carney. According to Page Six, police were called to Michelle's home in Nashville early Thursday morning (August 11) for a possible domestic disturbance. Court documents claim Michelleadmitted to slapping the 42-year-old Black Keys musician "one to two times" and was subsequently arrested and booked. She was released later that day after posting $1,000 bail. News of Michelle's arrest comes after she announced that she and Patrickwere splitting up after three years of marriage. "To say that I am totally devastated doesn’t even come close to describing how I feel for myself and for my family," Michelle shared in a statement. Michelle also tweeted, and later deleted, a note that said Patrick cheated on her while she was at home with their six-month-old daughter Willie. Michelle has a hearing scheduled for November 7, 2022 to face her charge of domestic assault by offensive/provocative conduct.

20 years ago this month, Michelle Branch came out with her debut studio album The Spirit Room. Despite years of disputes at Warner Brothers over album releases (she’d later go on to leave the company after being “dropped” in 2015, to reclaim her voice and release an album titled Hopeless Romantic in 2017), she just announced that she would be re releasing the Spirit Room on a double vinyl, with one disc being the original songs and the next being re recorded versions of the material I imagine they will sound something like this: She was credited as bringing back pop rock prior to the likes of Avril Lavigne. She was also labelled an Anti-Britney for a bit of time since it was starting to become popular that very summer. the album, produced by John Shanks (who would later produce Ashlee Simpson and more pop rock acts in the early 2000s), spawned the hits Everywhere All You Wanted and Goodbye To You, which was also featured on Buffy the first single off the reworked version of the Spirit Room will be You Get Me.
