That's so ******* rude. Are we allowed to be disappointed that Britney did not become the advocate she herself stated she wanted to be? Absolutely. Are we allowed to be disappointed that she denied the request to speak before the senate? Also yes. But criticizing her choices and insulting her for how she's chosen to process all of her trauma is quite literally how we got here in the first place. Shame on anyone who agrees with this.

The problem is... we don't know if Britney is really aware of what's going on... she still is hoping for justice? She knows the case is basically done?

If her instagram is a representation of how she talks and acts then she couldn’t speak seriously anywhere. Even an edited interview could be a disaster.

Can we maybe… give Britney a chance to process her own trauma before she tries to become an advocate for others? Her conservatorship ended less than three years ago and people are already expecting her to speak about it in front of an audience and bare her soul to the world. Look how long it took for Paris Hilton to speak on the abuse she endured in that private boarding school her parents sent her too. Britney is focusing on herself right now, as she should be.

There was a lot of trauma and unpleasant things that didn't make Britney come out well and think maturely and rightly. So we need to understand this. She is also not ambitious, she doesn't seem to care about money. She must not even understand how illegal wiretapping is so serious because she has always been seen with such frenzy.

Ouch that was harsh, but I wished she would have done the same and go to the congress. Things would have been so much better for her health and case, exposure in the right way. And yes it feels like these past three years have been a waste of time, no evolution, like she once said "like groundhog day everyday"

It’s incredibly sad that she didn’t speak to Congress or go after them in court but remember that post she wrote to Jayden saying something like  it was a miracle she could even walk or put one sentence together after what they did to her at that place? 

I think her “team”  intentionally had her put on dangerous amounts of serious dr**s she didn’t need so she would have permanent damage and wouldn’t be as capable of testifying against them.

Combine that damage with her severe trauma and maybe Britney literally just couldn’t do it. That’s not her fault.

I think she always wants easy things and let others doing the "serious" talk for her... basically a child like mind. 

She trusted blindly her lawyers and everyone in charge of her life. Probably because she doesn't want to deal with problems and responsabilities. 

And yes, I don't think she understands the serious of it all... like I wrote before, we're not sure if Britney understands the case is done, she wrote about not believing in justice, but nothing about settling things.

If Cade is (allegedly) signing things for her... we don't know if she is aware of most of what is going on.

It's a lot of stress to do that and Britney was under a lot of stress and she is also shy. The courage it took her to give a statement over cam at court, I am sure took a lot of strength. Also, loser is harsh. Just think how strong she is compared to most people.

That account tweets degrading things about her all the time. Everybody deals with trauma differently. Also If u look back Britney has never been big on public speaking so her not attending congress shouldn’t surprise us.

I understand society expects victims to become advocates against whatever it is that they escaped from… Personally, I’ve always thought that’s an unfair take, because victims didnt ask to be victims in the first place… However I do find it disappointing that she refused to speak in front of the US Congress, she (her lawyer) didnt even pursue legal charges against Lou. Yes, it’s valid she just wanted freedom and that’s it, but in my own opinion I think her life would be more fulfilled if she was an advocate and she had some kind of “reason” or “purpose”
