She’s been studying everything about Britney,  you can see it in her style, her dance moves, and the music video. Of course, she’ll never be Britney, but she’s still cool. She looks great in that music video!

I caught some Britney looks in the video —although, I definitely see more PCD “When I Grow Up” references. 
 

That said, I think she makes a good popstar, but she should probably let go of the Britney “easter eggs,” & authentically claim her own identity, in my opinion.

Yes! This!!! I hope she learns to create her own lane. No amount of britney references will make her have longevity.

Britney became a mega pop star on her very first single and her growth was authentic because she was herself and made people fall in love with her organically. You can't copy that. 

Tate is super talented I want to see who she is.

Britney was instantly compared to Janet/Madonna for the TRL set.

Everyone is a throwback to someone else's days, and Tate here is clearly paying homage.
