8 years ago Britney released the first single off her last album: 'Make Me...'

Cute song. I liked the fact it was sonically different than all the other leads.

Sadly everything else was messy. The music video cancelled, the god awful music video released, the performances.

MM had potential but Britney Jean and Vegas damaged her brand as a current artist  a lot at that point.

I thought it sounded very mature, classy and feminine. I think it's a good song, just not like a signature hit.

Both of the video's were off for me though. I only like the scenes where she's in that room with the dancers hanging from the ceiling.

I know a lot of fans dislike it, and wish it wasn't the lead single. I loved it immediately!!

She finally delivered a new sound and I was obsessed. It's in my top 20 Britney songs for sure

One of my absolute favorite songs from her! I still listen to it on the regular and can’t believe it’s already been 8 years since it was released!

I won't lie, I think choosing this song as a single was a mistake.. they had so many good options..
