Halsey samples Britney's "Lucky" in new song

Sounds cute to me.  

Halsey has long been a fan of Britney and has tweeted about her, including one about Crossroads in 2014. She cited "old Britney" as an inspiration for her song "Walls Could Talk." In 2021, as Brit battled her conservatorship, Halsey shared a tweet in support: "Bless Britney and I hope with my whole heart she is awarded freedom from this abusive system. She deserves it more than anything. I admire her courage in speaking up for herself today."

the song Lucky was made specifically for a young Britney Spears, don't see how it can apply to anyone else. 

Madonna sampling ABBA for her last pop-dance song worth noting worked out great

not sure why Britney signed off on such an insignificant talent by comparison

i like it but i'm tired of the 2000s aesthetic. it's overdone. i like that it became a trend like 2 years ago bc it consolidated britney's legendary status even more, but enough.
