OMG this album is so nostalgic for me, I had BOMT and loved it ofc but this whole record was my like... escape during weird childhood times so I had to pick Girl in the Mirror caaause it wasn't on my cassette

I seriously have never understood Dear Diary. It’s sooo cheesy and embarrassing to me. I don’t see how she thought it was good and needed to be on this album. If anything, it sounds like it could be a forgotten reject from the first album.

This. I gotta say it’s always such an easy choice to find the least favorite song on a Britney album in general. There’s always that one song that’s just too cute and cheesy… Dear Diary, Brave New Girl, Hot as Ice, Anticipating, etc.

"You Got It All" the weak link due to its belonging to an obviously different soundscape.

For what it is, the album is perfect. One can only get so much mileage out of teen pop, so it's not a favourite, but I can't hear it without remembering how optimistic and vital she made me feel. Still amazed by how perfectly it worked that interplay between bona fide phenomenon and believable girl next door.

It's not remotely lightweight, really. I'd say it was within spitting distance of GENIUS in its ability to both encapsulate and direct what was happening. It really plays like an important artefact of pop culture now.

Seems nobody never been in love

so I understand your hate towards Dear Diary. I liked that song back in 2000 and still like it, cuz this song were built on her voice, not drumkits

This song is from 1997 as demo, not intended for BOMT/OOPS albums.
