I mean I think it was the first song she got a writing credit on since Baby had zilch. It probably meant a lot to her at the time very early in her career.

edit: I did see she wrote a song on Baby, but it was only on the South Korean edition of the album and as a B-Side to Sometimes.

I actually think Anticipating is amazing haha. One of her best and most underrated songs. The melody and bridge are sooo good. I also really like Brave New Girl, it just doesn’t fit on that album to me. Feels like what some of the songs on her third album should of been. It’s so different from anything else and kinda cool to me.
