Britney 'wants to explain why her relationship with ex Sam Asghari ended in upcoming second memoir'

Britney wrote her The Woman in Me memoir prior to her separation from estranged husband Sam Asghari, and she wants to address what went wrong in another book.

“Britney’s not looking to go after Sam,” a source exclusively shares in the latest issue of Us Weekly of the singer, 41, writing a second book following her divorce. “She just wants [to talk about] why the relationship broke down.”

Spears married Asghari, 29, in June 2022 after five years together. He filed for divorce in August after 14 months of marriage.

“As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together … 6 years is a long time to be with someone so, I’m a little shocked but … I’m not here to explain why because its honestly nobody’s business !!!” Spears wrote via Instagram at the time. “But, I couldn’t take the pain anymore honestly !!! In some sort of telepathic way I have been receiving so many messages that melt my heart from friends and I thank you !!!”

Britney started writing The Woman in Me before the end of their relationship, often gushing about him in various chapters. At one point, she even called Asghari a “gift from God.”

“I have an appreciation for how stable he is. I love that he doesn’t even drink,” she wrote in a book passage. “I knew I wanted him in my life immediately. The chemistry with us in the beginning was insane. We couldn’t keep our hands off each other.”

According to the source, Spears is interested in writing a second book to “speak more about being a survivor” and explain “how she stays positive” amid her various ups and downs.

I also hope she focus more on her music in her next memoir. Talk about behind the scenes stuff, especially during her prime and how she felt about everyone accusing her of always lip syncing.

I think Britney clearly changed since she was put into the mental facility in 2019. Sam wanted to help her get back to normal, but she got triggered every time he tried to do an intervention, or make her take meds, or go see a Doctor. This is just my assumption, I dont know if its true.

Sam never even met Britney!  
All he knew was the person she was when she was highly medicated and without voice, opinions or ability to make choices! Although I like him, I’ve always thought the marriage was way too soon. They needed time to really know each other after conservatorship, more than that, Britney needed time to heal, find out who she was before sharing life with someone!

I was thinking the same but then I thought about Cade. He was supposedly part of the intervention too and she didn't remove him from her side...so weird

Yep. She was on meds when they first met and for a little while until she stopped taking them. I’m sure the change wasn’t easy for him.

So you think she should continue to take Lithium? Her book clearly states the route of her issues. Medication can mask the issue but proper therapy was needed during those 13 years. Rather than being forced on medication and being a performing seal for money.
