Britney turned down any on-camera interviews, including with Oprah, to discuss 'The Woman In Me'

I remember her saying on many occasions that she's competitive. I don't think she is, or maybe she just gave up on being the best by looking at what her peers are accomplishing, so she just decided to not play anymore so she won't be compared. I mean, yes, she was a great dancer but she's nowhere near the level of Beyoncé for example or Taylor or Shakira or Jlo. When I see them perform these days, I'm like "was Britney ever THAT good?". 

Her personal dramatic life put a stop to her talent as a performer, and that was around 2004. That knee injury also was the end of the dancer we knew.

After the Onyx hotel, everything was just "Okay", just because she is Britney Spears. But if a new artist was introduced to the public and performed on the same level she did between 2008-2018, I don't think that artist will even be in the map tbh.

True, Taylor is no dancer. But what I meant is the whole experience, the quality of the concert, new technology plays a huge role too

Honestly doing a tell all interview you cant do that, Oprah has ****ed up so many ppls reputation on tell all interviews.

The biggest one imo was the MJ one, and don't get me started on the recent Meghan Harry one...

I don't blame her for not wanting to share explicit experiences she had on her career, or with her family because I don't even do so myself with many people and I haven't been through half of what she had to experience.

I hope she roast the hell out of everyone on the book but idk if she will

I think she gave up on the competitiveness when her personal life started to fall apart in 2005-2007. I truly believe she still wishes she could get back to it because she posts pictures and videos of her performances from prime all the time but I think she believes that it’s too late and she already fell way too behind. Her live performances since 2007 haven’t been more than just “okay” while all her peers performance skills just keep getting better

I think her reputation up until 2004 was okay. The most she was really criticized for was being too s**ual, lip synching and cheating on Justin. Her reputation was salvageable right after the ending of the conservatorship but now I don’t think it is. I believe this is the worse her reputation has ever been so I don’t think a tell all interview would do her any worse unless she did something erratic during it

Nah... I don't know if you remember this but back when the live in Las Vegas special was released people vandalized on the promotion posters she was on, writing nasty words and even blaming her for 9/11. 

(Yes, people blamed britney back in her prime for 9/11, crazy but true) 

Honestly to me none on this is new, people can say all they want about her but whenever she releases music or does anything of importance (just look at all her hits post 07) people love to listen to them and they eat it up lol

its true, Britney used to be blamed for the most random, strange things, and all the time. People loved her or hated her, and when they hated her, it was with a passion. It started happening very early in her career, like maybe after the first year. I dont feel she ever got the support Beyonce or Taylor do.
