Was just talking about this in another thread! I LOVE Pat McAfee! He's an ex nfl player, hosted and wrestled in the WWE, has a sports podcast that will be on espn in the fall. His voice matters and is greatly respected in the sports world, so this is VERY important. He talked about it on his podcast the other day too, him and his entire crew were very respectful towards Britney and reiterated over and over that Wemby should apologize. As for the crowd laughing, that's literally what crowds at awards shows do— awkwardly laugh at the host who's just trying to fill time from award a to award b.

It wasn't! Like I said up there, Pat has a podcast where he spoke about it too. He said that Wemby needed to apologize and the rest of his crew (6+ other men) all agreed with him. Pat also supported freebritney on his podcast back in 2020 as well.

Wemby can just say something like, 'I'm really sorry for the incident that happened to Britney Spears last week in Vegas. I understand my security personnel was doing their job, but I do not condone the way in which it was handled. I am very flattered that Britney is a fan of me and I respect her as an artist and would like to put this matter behind me.'

You should do his PR cuz this was perfectly worded.

It’s unbelievable how many ppl think Wemby is a bigger name than Britney and that she used him for publicity lol. It’s actually laughable when it’s so obvious that this incident put HIM on the map with most people (outside of sports fans), not the other way around.
