She is a permanent A List celebrity and can be as huge of a relevant star as she wants to be. Since 2007 people have been asking this question and then proven wrong. Things have changed and slowed down, but it will never be over for her.

Another way of looking at it....Britney is in charge. Imagine if she put 100% effort into a huge comeback album and tour and it flopped hard. That would never happen. It's up to her. That makes me feel better personally, that she's still a success when she does do something. Right now she doesn't care to be working hard and trying to be the biggest pop singer in the world. And that's okay because she's already done that, and if she REALLY wanted to, she could do that again.
