according to Courtney love who also wanted the song, Linda was debating giving the song to Britney or Christina. Not sure how activate this is though

Didn't Linda Perry originally write the song for herself and she didn't want to give it away? I think Christina convinced her to let her record it for her album. Not sure about Pink.
