I just don't think they should be compared. People wanted to control and lock Britney up for things that no one would have known about had she not been stalked by photographers and the media her entire life.

She's not doing interviews and the only thing political she has done is speak out about mass shootings at elementary schools and standing with the women of Iran. Both are things that stand up for marginalized groups, not say anything that causes harm. Yet she continues to be compared to Kanye's comments, which boggles my mind.
