Not my argument but it’s a public forum so here’s my two cents. It’s attitudes and aggressive comments like this that make me take regular breaks from here. 
Why be so aggressive? You complain this forum used to be such a fun place (it’s had plenty of trolls and drama over the years), what are you doing to improve it? Because these comments and attitude aren’t it. 
I thought it was against community standards to talk to other users like this so I’m not even sure why you’re getting away with it. 

Don’t like someone’s topic? Don’t comment and keep it relevant. Don’t like a particular user? Feel free to use the ignore user function. Don’t like it here anymore? Don’t let the door hit you on the way out
