100% agree. I didn't necessarily expect this song to even be a top 10 hit as I assumed there'd be virtually no promo. #1 in Australia and #3 in the UK is fantastic! I think Britney will be very moved with this reception.

She’s record of the week on BBC Radio 2 and she was added to the A List (top tier of regular playlisting, almost hourly)

Also, BBC Radio 2 has a 14m audience (the largest audience of any single station in the UK) which is 5m more than BBC Radio 1 at 9m.

They seem to be catering it to a 30’s+ audience. Millennials and boomers. Heart FM love it.

The current #2 and #5 are on ACR next week so it is possible Britney can get a new peak  next week if streams are strong!

ACR meaning: ACR (Accelerated Chart Ratio): If the streams for a song have been decreasing for 3 consecutive weeks, they get halved. This rule only applies if the song has spent 9+ weeks on the charts.

We can get a new peak if we keep buying/streaming!

24 years into her career and Britney still has the ability to pull in the numbers and that too without any performances or video for the song. It’s excellent. It’s the most downloaded song, now we need it to become the most streamed! I’ve got a sneaky feeling it could still rise from #3 to possibly 2 or 1!!!

I love Britney as much as I love chocolate, w**d, dogs and s**... But the fans saying this is her Believe or Frozen are delusional.

So far, BOMT and Toxic (as singles) hold that title for her, or Blackout. HMC doesn't come close. However, it's nice to see that it has had some success and hopefully it will give her a taste for making more of her own music (but I only want her to do it if it will make her happy, of course). I think she can do way better than this. I think it's only OK.
