This Day in Pop: Britney receives the 'Candie's Choice Style Icon' award at the TCA in 2015 (August 16)

On August 16, 2015 the Teen Choice Awards  were held at the Galen Center in Los Angeles. Britney Spears was awarded with the "Candie's Choice Style Icon" award, which was presented by Fifth Harmony.

 

Besides that award, she was also nominated to Choice Song: Female Artist for Pretty Girls, but lost to Ariana Grande's One Last Time. Pretty Girls was also nominated for Choice Collaboration but lost to Taylor Swift's Bad Blood.

 

She was accompanied to the ceremony by her two sons, Preston and Jayden, as well as her brother Bryan and her niece Lexi.
