some people think it was recorded in 2015 because of a tweet on her page. People took that as "proof" of it being recorded that year. However, just clicking on the hashtag of said tweet will clarify that several celebrities were sharing their favorite Elton songs, because of a campaign of that day. Nothing else. No one's asking those celebrities if they recorded songs with Elton in 2015

Attention seeking Conspiracy theorists created a Conspiracy theory that it was recorded in 2015, because Britney took part in a hashtag trend, despite the fact that the Producer had limited success then and didn't work with Elton John until 2021, and Elton John didn't have a Mainstream Revival until 2019 or 2020 if you consider that his current sound is orientated around dance pop.

But in hindsight isn’t it kinda cool Britney’s got to record her favorite song from Elton with Elton as a remix? I didn’t even think about that until now
